When we decided to extend our outdoor living area Hok Homes was our first choice and they did not disappoint. The whole process ran smoothly and their professionalism and attention to detail was amazing. We loved the finished project so much we then asked if they could convert part of our family room into a bedroom for our visiting exchange student……arriving in only 10 days! Being first time business owners, and having to set up our shop from scratch, the process was daunting to say the least. Our business was part of a franchise, and the construction was open to anyone in the State, but we wanted if possible to deal with a local builder, who would understand the issues that would arise from being in rural SA, our needs and also hopefully be able to help us through the process. At first, we didn’t know if this was possible, but as luck would have it we were very fortunate to have Troy and Michelle Hosking from HOK Homes tender for the work. After speaking to Troy, we had no hesitation in giving him the job, a decision we never regretted, and we are thankful he took on this major work.
This was a major construction job, as the shop we rented had to be completely overhauled, from new floor, electrical wiring, all new plumbing, walls, toilets, ceiling, and then all the internal fixtures. We were so lucky to have hired Troy, who helped us, and it seemed nothing was too difficult for him. He worked around our requirements, and even worked during the night so it didn’t disrupt other adjoining businesses.
Troy is a true professional, with a wonderful attitude and demeanour, we couldn’t have completed this project if not for his assistance and advice, helping us source alternative materials and giving us support whenever needed. Troy and Michelle became friends during this process, and we can’t thank them enough for the support they gave us before, during and after it was all completed.
